4-week old chicks arriving this week!

I thought they would because they were shipped yesterday. Assumed it was overnight (mainly because the shipping was 4 times the cost of the chicks lol!). So definitely tomorrow. Their palace awaits...

They came Wednesday morning! Put them in the coop and they ate and drank really well. Only today did they explore the rest of the coop. I put them in the roost the first night and they just looked at me funny. Next morning they're still sittin' in the roost. I "helped" them down the ladder to their food. Last night and tonight I'm just letting them sleep in the very secure coop instead of putting them in the roost. We're all getting used to each other!

I am so glad they are doing well and everyone is happy so far. Remember your there parent so you may need to show them a thing or two. You will have so much fun with the chicks. I sometime wish mine were small again. Mine will be 21 weeks come Monday.
