At about what age would I be able to know if my chicks are hens or roosters based on the comb turning red?
I've posted pics of these chicks recently, but hopefully I've gotten a better view.

They were sold as Easter Eggers, but I might have picked up a bantam or two of some breed. They were sold from a farm, so nothing too fancy.

This is a gold sex-link from a RIRxRIW Roo or hen?

The ones on the left and right would have to be 5+ weeks. The rest, other than the gold sex link is around 4 weeks old.

Yep, that's what I figured. Thanks everyone.

Here's another question though. How many roosters can live together??

So it wouldn't be wise to keep 2 roosters.

What if the rooster is a bantam and the hens are standard size....?
