I have a 4 week old golden sex link, she has been in the coop with the other chicks for about 2 weeks now. They have pine shavings, and a heat lamp since it's still pretty cold where I live.
Today, I went into the coop to check the food and water and saw the GSL sprawled out on the ground. I picked her up thinking she was sleeping and she was shaking and kept crying when she tried to stand up. I read on another BYC post that it is a slipped out tendon. I pulled gently back on her leg like the post said to do, I think I felt a pop but I'm not sure.
I also tried doing the chickens chair with a painters mask and a box, but she kept falling out of it..
    Any ideas??
Also, should I post a pic of her so you can see what she looks like?

How long has she been like this? Does she eat, drink, poo? Or just sit all day with eyes closed? Is it possible to take her to a vet? You could post your photos at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread - plus any details about her. I hope they will be able to guide you in some treatment.

Is there any chance the other chicks injured her, or one of the house pets?

She has been like this since this morning I believe, I haven't seen her eat or drink yet. But she did a poop a little while ago. One of the other chicks may have hurt her because we have various chick ages in one area. Some are 4 weeks some are 5 weeks old. We keep the chick part of our coop locked so the 2 year old chickens can't get to them

If you haven't already, separate her from the other birds and give her a warm place of her own. Try to get some electrolytes down her, she needs to drink and they might help her perk up some. Also, as drumstick diva recommended, post over in the emergencies forum and include your photos.

I hope she'll be ok, good luck!
