Just wanted to verify before listing them for sale. I have two 4 week old lavenders orps, both are showing wattles already, I know its early but want them out of here if they are males, since I already have an adult pair, don't need more roosters for them, just pullets. They both have thick legs, and the tiny bit of red wattles coming in.
Chick 1

Chick 2

Chick #2 does look like a probable male. I'm not so sure on #1. It might not hurt for you to keep #1 around a little longer.

Alright thanks, I have some more eggs on order just to be on the safe side so I can have my breeding pen set up in the spring.

I will update in a couple of weeks.

Alright first update 6-7 weeks old now: (I have no idea if they are in the same order as first post, I dont have markers or legbands on them.)

Chick A

Chick B

And the polish chick that hatched with them for fun since i know its waaaay too early.

Polish looks like a pullet! The boys have crazier stringy looking crests, while the girls have nice round poofs like yours. I'd say pullet on chick a and cockerel on b.
