Black laced silver Wyandotte, they are all supposed to be pullets. Crema, on the left, has always been the smallest of the three. But what is she doing, is she trying to crow? Or could it be a digestive issue, she's the one I asked about in a different thread, who has frequent very watery poops with lots of what look like undigested crumbles in them.
Here's that thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/4-week-old-wyandotte-watery-lumpy-poop.1356359/

Here's a video of her (I hope she's a her!)

I'll check her crop first thing in the morning. I see all of them scratching and pecking at the shavings- they are flax straw, not pine shavings. The other two have normal poops, but many of hers are very watery.

This is the first time I've seen her doing this, I do see her drinking often and eating the crumbles.

Also- they have a 10 sq. ft. enclosure with the flax straw bedding; that is where their food and water is, and where they sleep and spend half their time. But they have access to a 50 s.f. run. with perches, rocks, things to do. It's in my studio (concrete floor) so I have 1/2" of corrugated cardboard on the floor of the run, and I've been covering that with newspaper so it's easier to clean... but they like shredding the newspaper, and this afternoon I saw them trying to eat little strips... so that could be clogging her crop.

I also just switched their water; our well water with a softener system has a good bit of salt, so I switched to bottled water.

I hope it's an easy to resolve crop issue and she isn't a he; my wife doesn't like roosters!
