It's going to be in the 80s this week with lows in the 60s. Our chicks are 4 weeks old. I'm putting them out, but am wondering if they should have a heat source. They have been without heat for 2 wks, in our house that maintains 70-72 temperature. They are thriving and are ready to move out of their brooder (their words, not mine :))
So should I have one in their coop with them? Or if we get a cold snap, which we will since our winters are so unpredictable, should I just have one set up in case? Thanks in advance.

Just put a huddle box out with them that is large enough for them all to get inside and is sheltered from wind blowing inside the box. They'll be fine.
