I forgot to add the text to my post, oops! I was wondering if it looks like a hen or roo. I was thinking hen based on the comb but it sure stands and acts like a little roo. I'm keeping it regardless since it hatched out of my davis/wade marans and its clearly not colored like a blue or black copper. I've had these Marans separate so the color was a surprise, all the other eggs hatched out as normal black and blue coppers.

Unless the photos are misleading, that chick does not have a straight comb. That would completely cast out the possibility of a Marans. You may have gotten an 'oops' egg.

Here's daddy it was windy today so his tail looks goofy, and he does have feathered legs but its really light feathering, the hens have better leg feathering.
