4 wk old Salmon Faverolle mix.....pullet or cockerel?

Looks like you've found your answer of Silver Gray Dorking pullet cross, but definitely not with a Faverolles. If it were a Fav cross, it would have slightly feathered legs by two weeks. As for eggs...usually you end up with the blue/green if dad was indeed an Ameraucana. Dorkings are fabulous birds.

Glad I'm not alone with this little mystery. I hope it is a pullet!

I bought some hatching eggs on ebay and hatched them out. The ad for the seller on ebay reads: Our flock includes Ameraucana (Aracuna), Barred Rock, Black Australorp, Black Langshan, Buff Orpington, California White, Copper Maran, Gold Sex Link, Iowa Blue, Production Red, Salmon Favorelle, and Welsummer. I'm thinking it is half Salmon Faverolle because of the 5 toes and it has a muff/beard.

keesmom - the color looks like a Dorking but the breeder didn't have any Dorkings. Maybe it's a mix of Ameraucana/Salmon Faverolle?
I have had some with large combs that I thought were boys until they laid an egg.
The muff or what we c
all puffy cheeks is true to Easter Egger or Americana breeds. I have a mixed breed that hatched that is the only one that is the exact color of a salmon flaverolle and no other hatched chicks look like her. We call her creamsicle.
I see three layers of feathering on your baby, I'm thinking a her not a him for yours.
