Thanks for the information. I didn't know that they didn't need Roosts.

As far as the ordering is concerned. We just went down to one of the local feed stores and bought them.
They were only $1.50ea. No shipping/handling charges. The chicks aren't stressed that much...(They are driven down from the hatchery about an hour and a half away.)

But then the chicks from the feed store come from a hatchery and had to be shipped there so.............

The Hatchery is only 1.5hrs away...Mine just "Took a Drive in the Country" compared to those that are shipped.

The hatchery delivers to all the local feed stores, instead of shipping.
