You could house a pair in a 50 gallon tank easily!

My first ever button hatch had 18 eggs and only one hatched

My second button hatch had 50 eggs (20 were completely clear at hatch time). From the remaining 30 eggs I had 19 hatch. These were both shipped eggs. So if you know what you are doing when it comes to hatching shipped eggs and you know how to hatch quail eggs (buttons can be picky), you should have a decent hatch if the eggs aren't total junk.

Wow, what kind of incubator are you using?

Then I had an LG. The first batch I had no idea what I was doing. The second set came from AK and were labeled as 'old'...they were freebie eggs.

Now I have a 1588 that I use for incubating and a 1583 that I use for a hatcher

It really depends on shipping and who you get the eggs from. These are from my own breeder pairs and I got 100% hatch
