I have to agree with everyone else. On day 18 you will see the air cell and the rest of the egg will be filled with black which is the chick filling the space.

i guess they're behind

when i candle them i sit them on the boot on the flashlight (sportman 3watt minimag size),i don't hold them, then i wait for it to move on it's own. i've seen feet moving in this is one. the other side of the egg is full i turned it around where some light was shining in

i have 3 pips and 1 cheep, the first pip was the egg in the pic. 4hours into day21

right now i have 5 hatched and 7 pipps.

15 chicks out of my 42 eggs thats. 4 catsranchand, 4 theresa, and 7 jimmy47.
i have 4 with no pips no cheeps here at the beginning of day23, but i think i'm calling them quits because the last one to hatch was in bad shape it breathing fast and not moving one leg. no to mention the SMELL all that "stuff"in the warm moist air

I checked those 4 , all dead. 2 pipped into aircell one had broke a vein and bled out, the other two look like they died two days ago one was starting to stink

oh and that twin egg, one chick out and something nasty in the bottom of the shell
