43-5+1=39 chickens!!!!!

I had 43 chickens but I sold 5 2 days ago. I sold a turken roo, a silkie, a pair of buff brahma bantams, and a 3 year old americauna hen. Plus, she gave me a black showgirl chick, she is adorable!!!!! A guy at the feed store wants some banties for his 4 year old daughter, so he will be out here to get some next week. Finally, I can haul less feed and water to the chickens!

I can relate...

In the past 3 weeks I sold 8 of our chickens (thinning the flock). Then had 4 out of 6 "experimental eggs" from our girls hatch for my bator trial run. The icing on the cake...just won a bid for 12+ Silver Spangled Hamburg hatching eggs. The eggs are for our roo Romeo...he needs girlfriends!
