48 hrs after first hatch

Can any one tell me how long after lock down they start to hatch tomorrow is day 3 at 8pm they will have been cooking for 21 days and will have spent 72 hrs in lock down I am lossing my mind come on and hatch already

Chicks take 21 days.. with that being said.. my first hatch was last weekend. Day 21 was Friday - first chick didn't hatch until Saturday.. last chick hatched Sunday afternoon..

Today is day 21 for my remaining eggs.. I figure they will hatch tomorrow while I am gone for about 6 hours.. go figure.

How soon they hatch depends on the temperature during incubation. They hatch late if temp is too low. They hatch early if temp is too high. I read that neither case is good for the chicks. Usually after a few hatches you will have an idea where your temp should be. I used to have "perfect" temp and I keep getting early hatch. Subsequently, I lower my temp by 0.5-1 degree and hatch right on time. Good luck. BTW, your bator looks gorgeous.

maybe three the wife said if you stand up on the chair you can see batter lol they are also peeping a little i will update with progress and pics.
