48 times a day 45 degree turning angle

Well I am using shipped eggs. I want to get various samples of Appenzeller Spitzhauben flock from around the US and then breed the best. Also I have a plan to mix Golden Spangled Hamburgs with the silver spangled spitzhauben to get what I hope will be a golden spangled spitzhauben. Well I am learning German so plan on bringing some hatching eggs back with me if I can go next year, those and maybe some Marsh Daisy eggs from england.

Interesting. I was very surprised by the age factor also. Even at 62 weeks, these hens (just barely really) are still real young from most of our points of view. If you were a breeder and waited until their first molt to see if feathering might change, they are all ready too late by this study and your hatch-ability has gone down quite significantly. So would it be better to breed them and keep the F1's until you see the parent stock grow out or just let them grow and accept that your rate could go down by 6%?
On another note, I took out my turner this am (going into lockdown today) and there is no way to adjust the the GQF autoturner. This study sure has me thinking. Thanks for sharing.
