Here are pics of the mixed flock. My rooster is pure, hes a giant barred cochin, and there is a delaware, a leghorn and a california white in the group. (the silkie isnt laying).

and in another coop i have a silver laced polish and a golden laced polish (very fertile eggs) and a bunch of bantams black gals.

id bet youd get some cool looking polish from that group


EDITED TO ADD: i plan to add extras, ANY egg the gals lay. I have no room in the bator. I get about 6 eggs a day. ALSO! If my khaki campbell duck lays an egg, you will get that too.

I am incubating these eggs myself and they are all developing. I hatched one a few weeks ago and it was a cute baby, light colored head and a darker body! I like this cross because the Orps are such reliable egg layers laying nice extra large eggs, Im hoping to add in a richer color to their egg with the Marans.
