im new to this but i would say probly not it would be hard to if u did at like 7 days it would be real ez ive noticed stuff at like 5 days

It takes a very experienced eye to spot anything that early into incubation. Wait about two days and you'll be able to see an embryo and a network of blood vessels, should the egg be fertile. If it is fertile and you candle now, you may be able to spot the germinal disc on the egg's yolk, but it is not always easy to see, particularly if you're using a bad flashlight.

its a brown egg i forgot to memtion that... would that change n e thing??

Give it a week for brown eggs. You will definately be able to tell then, instead of taking them out every day and losing heat & such.
I swear this was posted yesterday.

Hey Keni-sue !!

You know you're an AUNT now don't you !?!?!?!? Yeah...

You know with Alice's second batch of eggs we never touched them - well I DID move them briefly to clean out the nest and remove some ants, but while she was taking a short walk... Otherwise we let God and Alice do the deciding on what was good or not. With the batch of frizzle eggs we have in our Brinsea we're gonna do the same. Just let them cruise...

From all I have read you should not really see anything for about 10 days. And being a brown egg is kinda tough to see into, I'd be inclined to let it be. So I second the notion to be patient... Have a piece of banana cream pie while you're waiting

7 days is the best bet, but I can usually see them at day 3...although not all are visible that early, some take a few more days due to placement in the egg. I use 3 days just to see if ANY are growing and get an idea...don't discard any until at least day 10 unless they smell

According to my incubator instruction manual, most hatcheries candle at day 6, 12 and 18. By day 12 you shold definetely be able to tell. I would leave it for a few more days. Good luck!
