I like treat time. It might be really interesting if cropped just show the contrasting feather patterns. Rusty Roo is cute, put I think treat time is the more interesting photo.

Treat Time...I also think it might be interesting to try cropping it so all you see is the contasting feather patterns...you could always use the original if you don't like it.
Rusty is a great shot but I'll bet there will be a dozen just like it.​

I am still trying to decide. Thanks for all your help. I think I might go with Rusty - because it is such a pretty picture.

I will let you guys know. The fair isn't untill August so I have time to decide.

For me its Treat Time, the clarity of the feathering on the birds is lovely, go for Treat Time pleaseeeeeee

Just my HO.... I would go with the Rusty one over the other. It's a nice profile shot and you can see his girls in the background. You might have him play around with some cropping.... the right crop on a pic will add something great to it... funny how taking away adds

The other... I love the subject, the pose, the colors, etc.... but there is just too much motion blur

I think it's wonderful that your son is taking an interest in photography!! Sometimes it takes a 100 shots to get that perfect one... and then somedays it takes only one

Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing more of his work

I like them both! I would have a really hard time deciding which one to use. If I had to lean one way or another, I think I would pick Rusty.........I think .

It is very hard to choose,,,but I would go with treat time,,,it has a very pleasing visual effect,,,and is different than the norm,,,,unique!!!!!

Rusty is nice but has just a little too much information in the background. (ie fence, doesnt seem as natural, and contrast between the chicken sizes)

I would have to vote for Rusty. I really like treat time, but I agree that there is too much motion blur. If it were for my wall, that wouldn't bother me, but you're dealing with photo judges with lots of pics that would be enough to eliminate that pic.
