4males and two females can it ever work? Help

I feel for you--we have the same situation this summer because we incubated eggs and 5 of 6 eggs turned out to be male! We have 4 females and 6 males--totally unworkable and really difficult to figure out what to do with the extra males considering we love them all so much. Hope you figure it out!

I second all the comments that say this is far too many drakes vs hens. Even 3/5 is far too high. Drakes compete for the hens, and too many drakes per hen can cause overbreeding to the point that the drakes kill the hens. Most people recommend nothing less than a 1/4 ratio. Quackers and others are right that you risk the safety/lives of your hens if you keep this many drakes and don't have them segregated almost all the time.

Well I'm happy to report that things have calmed down a bit and the new girls (rouens) are part of the flock. I "think" I figured out the hierarchy and my two black swedish girls are the "main chicks" that run the show... They are divas!!! But they all happily move about together and forage with minimal drama. Finding a good home for two of the boys hasn't been the easiest but since the girls we're introduced they have been able to eat and forage alongside the khaki with minimal issues. So far now I'm waiting and watching! Thanks for all of your comments.
