Ya, city ordenance says we may have six laying hens, no roos, and that's it. :/ I want to buy some land... move out of our house and own at LEAST 2 acres... we've only got about 1/4 acre now... :/ Hopefully in the next 5 years we'll move and I'll be a happy camper.ouch only 6?we only have 4 acres here but the house we are looking at is on 60. I will be soooo much happier on that much land
Pekins are commonly kept for meat because of the white feathers making a clean pluck. They dont lay as well as the SA do, and the SA give a nice table bird.

Happy 10th!!!!!K, so today is my hubbys and I 10th wedding anniversary...I'm supposed to be out getting his gifts...but I find myself stopping n the store, n the car, n parkinlots to post and look! Bahahaha winning would be icing on the cake..now if I could just stop and get my shopping done lol...ain't gonna happen I'm afraid, but come 5 when he gets home...prob won't b on much more today...good cuz I will be celebrating with him and no chillins but bad cuz won't be posting and chatting it up with all y'all!
