they are ready to eat around 1 1/2 yrs old. I think most people have them as pets on here. From what Ive read, they are like a giant chicken and can be "birdbrained", storming though fences if they get spooked.

Got it. They would be novel... I could see myself trying it out if I lived on a farm.

Maybe just to get some to sell eggs on ebay. LOL
