Just reporting - I got my first pip. I heard her peeping away and was surprised. Seems a might early, but there's always one to get the ball rolling. It is always so exciting - no matter how many times you do it!

Don't worry if yours haven't pipped yet - they will!

OK ladies and gentlemen, we are working on a status update on all contests. Don't expect winners for most of the ones that require judges till next week, and some are not closed yet. There are 2 different places handling winners and judging ( not including contests so generously sponsored by individual members) so those will take longer. Cheers

I hope the request/suggestion to do so didn't sound pushy -- I was thinking that if winners were listed right w/ each contest it would be a logical place for ppl to find the winners and therefore cut down on tons of "who" & "is it still open" redundant questions on the thread(s). esp. w/ the HUGE MEGA-HUGE volume of posts we've all been achieving. I know I am, & I'm sure everyone else is, really thankful for all the great effort all of the people running this hatch-along have been doing. It is clearly hours & hours of your personal time! You all deserve special good chicken luck after all this

Today we were busy watching a hatch cam, figuring out ways to get rid of mice and then an opportune time contest was announced to have one slot left. Really hatchers, It could be on post 9988 and we are only on post 6132.....Post something other than dinner smells gooooooood

Hatching started for some. FarmerChef had a duck out! CelticOaksFarm Too! BHep has a Silkie! MrHeinz77 had three breeds hatch that are not on his list, so they don't count for the contest. Someone gave him

Razadia has some hatching! Bettacreek had a cot tumble out of the bator when trying to cool off a Temp Spike!

cochins1088 is worried about a late hatch. Thermometers seem ok
