Well, my externally pipped chick pipped over 24 hours ago, now I'm wondering if I should try helping. It's the one that's pipped at the pointy end of the egg. It is still moving in there... what do you all think?

Ugh, illness strikes everywhere.

Let's see, in the two months I had the lovely vomiting/knock-you-on-your-behind flu, followed by each toddler son 3 days apart and hubby...then there was the respiratory crud for the whole family....followed by round two of respiratory crud for the boys....now we're on son 2 for massive vomiting flu, who should go on to diaper-filling if he follows his brother while I'm trying to kick 2 weeks of respiratory crud now in my chest. I think it's been 2 months since everyone in the house was healthy. Preschools...massive vectors.

Holy crap. I need to start checking my pockets more often! $144 has accumulated in my coat pockets in the past week! Horay for xmas gifting and soap sales. Should probably go see what the store has sold and restock them while I'm at it.

How long ago did you try to make the hole bigger and it bled ? Im thinking give him till morning and then help some more maybe but its your call.
