we have an issue tonight while we were posting in 18 I was researching for a gal on the incubating thread as her chick stopped pipping over 26 hrs ago and finally her last chick hatched so she helped this one, well as it was pipping it BROKE ITS YOLK SACK! ugggg poor thing was a mess of dried egg yolk, but she is chirping LOUDLY and the gal says her umbilical isnt too bad but still waiting on pics, she ran to get her veterycin from the horse barn..... If you can stop that infection and the chick is strong enough it CAN MAKE it, but not typically... so CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR HER!! SO I WILL do more research and add her pics and story to that article as well in a day or so....

No peeps or pips here...I think I ran low (98-99) all hatch...so we'll see....

Oh wow, all the things that can go wrong, it's amazing any of them hatch! I know the big guys just let nature take it's course, it's not financially viable to help them, but for us, we want every egg that could hatch have every chance we can give it

I hope that little one makes it!!!
