I didn't set 11tybillion eggs like MarineCorpFarmer or cutie pie ducks like Sally or darling serama or silkies but,all 5 of my little home grown mutt eggs have hatched; I'm stoked! I've got about 25 shipped eggs with a few pips that I'm still waiting on, It would be nice to see a different colored chick, all mine are black!

I bribed the kitties to get a scale for the size of the chest. I will put the window and incu kit on the top and then install an automatic turner on the bottom.

I might paint it...and I will line it with some firm insulation, I like the foil backed stuff if I get a choice. I might also order some of the flex watt heat tape and make my own eco glow type heater for the chicks.

Wow, you are going to be able to hatch a lot of chicks in that!

Has anyone else ever noticed how bad the Aquafina water bottles are, they s**k. One of the expensive brand and the stupid bottle don't stand up right. Funny thing is I work for the same company that owns them, but a different part. Can you quess? Whoever gets it right will get 6 + mystery eggs in the spring or sooner (when weather breaks) go I will run this for 2 hours and give my answer at 10:30 PM.

Wow! It just took me 2 hours to catch up with you people. I still have no pips...but half of my eggs are a day later so we shall see what happens.. Hatch on peeps!

I don't think my turner was off that long, maybe I turned off, on time, while I was on my pain meds, because they are popping like popcorn, except for the one I have to keep staring at because it won't come out, I think it is stuck. I suck too. I don't have luck, like others, and can't open my incubator without everyone getting risked. For some reason, this one got stuck, it pipped and zipped, top pop, it stayed in. I'm not good at the open quickly thing either. Must of mine are surprises, like 1st and 2nd generation OE eggers, and some of DMrippys eggs, love Donna's eggs.

ok, so I got railroaded into a crappy New yYears party, and won't be on hand to take pics of the hatch, which disqualifies me for a contest i've waited for for a month. not a happy girl. I did set up a webcam, on the slight chance that can be submissable instead of a pic.
