4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

Well this hatch was a lot of fun, I have decided that I will not be heading up another one. I was on the fence but made up my mind tonight. I have too much going on in my life to dedicate the time needed to a major hatch-along. There are just too many people to try to keep happy and when I'm struggling myself, it isn't possible.

I would like to thank those individuals that helped and I'd like to give a huge thank you to those that donated prizes and ran contests.

Lastly, I'd like to thank all of you for the memories.

I add whole wheat, steel oats, cracked corn, Boss, and sometimes 1x a month I toss in pumpkin seeds, garlic, Oregano, all my apple cores, cucumbers. Calf manna. I watch my birds and add what is needed depending on time of year and condition.

I started up my first fermented feed bin tonight. Just did a half gallon container of chick mash to start, but it's started. Managed to find a single bottle of UPACV at the organic grocery store.

Sorry to hear that, Jim... This was my first hatch-a-long, and my first incubator hatch. I'm so glad I decided to do my first one with all of you! It was a blast, but hectic just taking part, so I can imagine how hard it was to hold it all together... I think you did a fantastic job! A HUGE thank you to you for all of your hard work!!
