I wish I could find a feed mill near me

I found 1 about 17 miles from me, which is only 3 miles further than the nearest TSC, so that's where I go.

That sucks you can not free range. It saves so much money. I will have to come up with something when and if these eggs hatch if I have show/breeder quality. I'm considering fencing a large area of the back section on my yard (I have a little over an acre) & letting my runners & layers semi-free range in there. The breeders I'm going to try to build small tractors for so I can move them around the yard this summer.

UGh my owner showed up unexpectedly and says he has been getting complaints about the birds so they have to go.

. I have talked to anyone close enough to be able to hear them and they all say they dont have a problem

, I wish people woudnt lie to me . Im not a agressive or angry person Im always quite and polite they have no reason to say one thing to me and one thing to someone else.

We do have a membership, and I suppose it does save us some since we usually get a dividend cheque at the end of every fiscal year. Feed is very pricey now compared to what it was the last time I had poultry though. I'm paying $16.99 (CDN) for a bag of layer ration and that only lasts me about 1.5 weeks.

Oh no ... that's not good. I can't see how people can complain about a few chickens when half the neighbourhood often has dogs barking half the night and running loose.
