4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

Noon....that's a pretty broad time in the USA..

So when we say noon...what is it going to be?
Noon YOUR local time is when you set. The 1st chick hatched will be the closest after midnight your local time as well. This is why they want clocks in the pix that can't be tampered with (ones that set themselves by satelite) like computers & cell phones.

oh I have a good question..............How on earth am I suppose to get all of my eggs in one picture? Multiple cabinets going with eggs that have already been set (ducks and geese) as well as the large number of eggs going in tomorrow. I have a hatching problem lol

Eggs in the mail at this time of the year is scary! I have quail coming, expected delivery date: Today, but they haven't been updated since yesterday and haven't arrived at our PO yet.
These are the busiest 2 weeks for the post office for packages. Everyone who orders online for Christmas do it earlier so that it has time to get there and they use the 2 weeks before Christmas to shop in town. The post office does not have as many people working to take care of the extra packages as they used to. Packages are taking much longer than usual. I finally got my eggs today that were sent last Tuesday and they were not sent across the country (only half-way). I hope that everyone gets their eggs tomorrow!

Good luck everyone!

Yup! I usually don't send or have eggs (or other packages) shipped to me at this time of the year, because it just adds to their load. Unfortunately, since I've been doing hatches for winter, the hatching thread caught me and I've had several packages coming and going! Poor postal workers!
