Last min question....are we dq for first chick hatched if we have to set before 12? I gotta go to work and really wanna participate, hoping a chick or two will wait till midnight lol. I hope we still can! I'm def gonna be playing all the other games

If you set before noon, you cannot participate in the first chick hatched contest, however you can set later than noon and still be qualified for that contest. All the rest of the contest, you can definitely participate in.
I myself will be setting later, because of appointments today.

Good Morning Everyone! Just a reminder for set day today. Please set at noon your own local time. Please do not set earlier than noon if you want to participate in the First Chick Hatched Contest. That gives you a running start, so to speak. You may set later than noon and still participate in that contest. Once you set, take a picture of all your eggs and on the first page there is a thread to put that picture.

Oh this is going to be fun!!!!

*If you do set before noon, all the rest of the contests are still open to you.

Ok so the best I could manage for now is a web cam, but it does take pics so now my question is when we take the pic of our eggs at set do we need the atomic clock in that photo like the one for hatching time or no? Also, since I am gonna use a web cam, how would I manage the atomic clock with the cam box on screen?

No need for clock in picture when you set your eggs
When you set your eggs, please post a picture of the eggs so that we can verify how many eggs were set. All eggs need to be seen in the picture. Mstricer will copy the pictures and put them on a page for eggs set for the 4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long.

Some of mine haven't come in yet. It looks like Thursday. Will it be OK to post that late, or should I just use the numbers that I can set today and keep the hatching records separate?
