4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

My pics are posted awhile ago on the pic thread.

I set my eggs @ 12:02 Eastern Time
Now, to be clear we run on Eastern Time at my house, all the clocks, all party invites, notes on calendar all Eastern.
Technically, my land sits a few miles into Central,
50% of the ppl on my st. run on Central,
the other 50% run on Eastern,
it gets really confusing when ppl invite you over for something, locally they say "Do you mean "fast time" or "slow time"?

Eastern Eastern Eastern that is my final answer.

Soo for the contest I set at 12:02 Eastern, I'll be following Eastern for hatch times,
I just want to be clear on that in case any of the TN locals wonder what I'm on about time wise.

By some great amazing good luck after 4 hrs my little DIY coolerbator that could has settled at 99F :)
The humidity 19% is pushing me to near panic,
but I am maintaining CALM and not doing anything about it for several more hours to see if it settles on its own (house is 43% atm)

GREAT THANKS to the people running this NYDH !!
We love you, we are behind you 100%, we know it is a TON of work, we wish you happy chickens always :)

I almost feel a sense of letdown now that the eggs have all arrived and are set. Nothing left to do but watch my incubator temps for the next week...

(pretend the computer is my incubator and I am obsessicely staring at the thermometer/hygrometer...)

oh my that's all I do...stare at the therm or hygro! Well that's what I think I do somehow the chores still get done, like the dreaded dishes and lotta laundrey lol

Oh dear...
I just put in laundry. I was next to the garage and the incubator and was thinking about how it was going and wondering f any of those tj's egg would hatch and got a pair of extra sox to wash...
I have no idea if I put soap in....
Do I leave it or take a chance at double soaping??

Quote: This is exciting hope all the kids are ready, did you assign a poster for the day?

Thanks mstricer! They had a blast! I am the leader, the mom, the farmer and they want me to post! Now I can wire a circuit, plumb a sink, fix most anything (yes I am a duck tape genius) but I am so non techno savvy, that I call myself the techtard. No disrepect, but I am just so un- inclined!! I have to wait till my husband gets home to post the picture! I've tried several times, and I just can't seem to get it done correctly!
