Well my one batch never made it here safely everything was cracked and my other batch I was going to pick up Monday morning has a Brody hen on themmy friend said she went broody on her so she let her suit on them to get them started lol was about a three day head start so I now have nothing for the hatch I'm so sad I was really looking forward to hatching with everyone

My mystery eggs are a mystery P.O. said they have not seen any packages for me.This is a picture of eggs I set last week. So I guess I am not going to be in contest for chick born at mid nite. But will be in others. 38 eggs set. I am eggcited none the less. I have OE, lavender ameruacana, marans, WL, and 3 of our polish since one started laying

You can still hatch with us, just can't be in the first chick hatched at midnight competition, that's all!!

Quick question about the chick hatching and a atomic clock to show time of hatch with wet chick. Would a cell phone showing the time be acceptable for this photo or just like 2 separate pics one of the chick and one of the atomic clock from the contest link?

If I'm lucky enough to hatch that close to midnight, I'll be chucking my phone INTO the bator for the pic!

Set my eggs right on time and then I found out tonight that I won't be home as planned for the hatch. Hubby just surprised me with a trip away and I'm sad about not being able to participate as planned, but really excited about going. My friend is going to hatch my eggs. A double edged sword for sure!! :/

Oh No!! I feel your pain, we go away every New Year's Eve. Last year we drove to the beach with a bator of actively hatching eggs on my lap. Haven't decided what I'm going to do this year.

This graphs show one system hooked to 2 different home made cardboard box incubators. Only one has a humidity sensor in it but that will change once I get the other one in the mail. If my temp or humidity strays outside the safe zone that I set, I will get an emailed alert telling me what the problem is. If you guys think this is neato, let me know!
