Just had to share ... this is one of MY eggs (only 2 of the 13 we collected of our own appear to have embryos in them) and we were so shocked to see such coolness we had to take a vid.

Oh My Goodness!! very cool, now why don't I ever see these things while candling??

OK, I'm skipping 20 pages again

I had a Scovie baby hatch yesterday & now have quail hatching this morning. NOT going to be fun to move a bator fulla hatching eggs & a brooder fulla newly hatched babies an hour & a half away tonight. Please pray for safe travels for my babies & that they don't get too cold.

Lightning + Snow = kinda scary!

It only snowed a little bit here today. We have a cumulation of about 5 inches on the untouched spots. It's inconvenient to haul water in gallon jugs, I think that's my least fave part of winter! I do enjoy going out after a fresh snow to see who/what's been on the place and where.

Mrheinz, Lightning AND snow? Doesn't seem fair somehow.
