Thank you so much everyone! We are out of danger and no reports have come in of any major damage. There's still a storm in the area, but it looks like everything is going to be ok.
So glad to hear! Tornados are scary... Before I was born, my parents house was destroyed by a tornado. They were always told to go into the southwest corner of the basement. Thankfully, they were gone camping because 5 rows of concrete block came down in the southwest corner! I spent most of my childhood being very paranoid about tornados. We would be in the basement if the storm was bad at all, and in the corner under the workbench if there was a watch!
When I first started hatching I wanted to know what was going on inside my eggs. Yes you can candle and see "shadows" but I wanted to see how it really looked. After doing some searching I found 2 sites that gave me all the information I wanted.
Days 1-21 Inside an egg
Day by day
I am glad you enjoy the photos and information. I do not mean to offend anyone with them just some basic knowledge of what a chick goes through from the time we set them until the day they hatch.
I love the photos!! It was because of them that I was able to determine when my quitter quit on me.... Keep them coming, please!!
