4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

Yeah, lost interest, much better here. :)

brb, gotta start "Little Engine That Could" for the 4th time. LOL Train obsessed son.

That is the best ever book!!! I read it every year to my fourth graders as examples of perseverence, both on the part of the little engine that could and the clown that kept asking for help. Many of my students have never heard it before - hard to believe! But, it's a classic and absolutely necessary for a complete education. Whenever one of my kids would feel despondent or think something was too hard, I would say, "Remember the little blue engine . . . " And, they'd smile and go at it again. Your son is lucky!

Quote: Thanks! They are so stinking cute! I don't think I have ever seen such cute chicks! (Of course, they are also the youngest chicks I have seen. The last ones we got were a few days old already.) I just put my hand in there, and two came over to climb on. Then I cupped my hand so they could climb under like a hen. They got all snuggled in.... I wish I could sit like that all day for them!

Our other chicks were all scared from the get go, so this is just too sweet!
