You know I never even knew there was a Grumpiest Chicken Contest. The anouncement had to have been lost in all the posting? I have a life other than hanging all day to try to keep up with the posts.

I think it was part of the egg swap thing ... which I couldn't participate in because I'm Canadian

I think there needs to be a special egg swap section for us Canucks so we can take part next time!

My son dumped a bunch of pop corn on the floor and is laying on his belly on the floor eating the pop corn with the chickens

From an evolutionary survival standpoint that would be a very bad idea.

Now I'm just hoping the toxic fumes from my shelf liner don't kill my pipped peep.

the grump contest was a completely different contest not from NYD, just mentioned last night since voting was open for it.

Tues. is lockdown for me i have 9 good eggs outta 26 so far. Keep your fingers crossed!! This is my second time hatching and all the first 12 were ruined in the mail before i even got them! When i recieved my second order, the box was on its side in the mail truck, they need to be kept level! All the upside down one (bigger end up) i marked and they WERE the1st ones to go! If anyone has eggs and lives by Il. Wisconsin border, let me know! I,d rather drive and pick up or meet somewhere, myself!

I live in Racine and I always have eggs..right by IL WI border

Still nothing going on here, but like I said earlier I'm not all that worried about it.

I got to looking around in the BYC store and spotted the promo pack. Here's hoping can convince someone in my family to get it for me for my b-day in Feb. I love all the bumper stickers it comes with along with the 1 year GFM.

I'll check back in later and see what everyone has going on.
