4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

So I haven't seen my chicks in a long time now. Why? 'cause I gave them a Nesquick container to crawl into and feel safe inside, and they like it! It has paper towel on the bottom so it's soft and they can get their footing in there. So it occurred to me I can check on them with my camera, so I took a picture inside and there they were, happily cuddled up

No hatching this year. I have TOO MANY CHICKENS!

I have my 20 layers PLUS 20, 6 week old polish, but another 10 w/BW chicks plus another dozen mixed layer breeds.

I'll have to sell some come may when it's getting warm. Only the prettiest, best layers stay.

That seems smaller than last year. But thats the best part of hatching...to keep the best and sell the rest!!!

Here's my suspected twins. I know the bulls eyes are weird...but I had an egg I swear had one yolk but two embryos. I checked her other eggs and several had double bullseyes that were dark and not light but there wasn't any light spots at all to indicate if its even infertile.

I think you're right, that does look like to bullseyes! Maybe they're incorrectly positioned, because I think usually they start at that white dot over to the left. In fact, it looks like she has several more bullseyes, or starts of them?? That's very strange!
