I signed up, but no eggs yet. Still looking! I can hatch a few mutt eggs worst case.

Thank you sounds like so much fun. Im glad my DH hasnt been paying to much attention to my egg addiction lol. Im gonna have to try and figure out a way to sneak another incubator in the house

Chicken math has hit you! We started with a couple dozen, and at our peak we had over 150 (couldn't keep them still enough to count) chickens and 50 ducks! and then the attack...pack of wolves, coyotes or fox came in and ate almost everyone. We ended free ranging, bought tons of box wire, chicken wire and electric fence. Now my poor birds are on modified lock down.
We have eggs (thanks to Jim!) coming for the hatch a long, if most hatch we will be back to 75 chickens, and we now have 27 ducks...a tiny bit more managable!

Do you use the indoor type of kennel? How old are they when you put them in the kennel in the coop?

How many do you have in the giant kennel?
