4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

I have heard if you put your thermometer 1/2 degree warmer you might get an early one. I would not know personally.
If your tempatures are a little high, they'll hatch early. If they are a little low, they'll hatch late. Though you shouldn't purposely keep it warmer, it should be kept at optimal tempature. I also notice that when I hatch bantams and large fowl together, the bantams hatch first.

Not so with my last hatch. My barred rocks hatched first, followed by the NNs and the silkies and bantam Ameraucanas last

I have weird birds lol

My incubator fluctuated higher last hatch, but usually it's either right on time or late.
