4th day not eating drinking. Pullet. 21weeks. Silkie. HELP!

Yes, I'm in the US. Just an extreme nightowl, LOL!
A reptile lamp sounds promising, as long as you can keep a watch to make sure she doesn't show signs of getting too hot.
DE isn't the best thing for preventing creepy crawlies. Not the worst, but not the best. Though I've seen reports that say now that one shouldn't use it at all around birds due to the dust possibly getting in their lungs and injuring the. So, not sure what to tell you about that. Either way, since there's no sign of beasties, you can hold off until this crisis is over with.
The temp is still within the normal range, so I'd not worry about that. I was more concerned with the chance she might have been running a fever, so that's a great bit of news to me, actually!
Try one more time to get some liquids in her, see if you can get another syringe in her. After that, it's sort of up to you and her. If she's managed to get enough liquids in her to be able to feel some in her crop, that'll be half the battle. If she's resting comfortably after the next syringe, you could take time to get a nap in and then try again in a few more hours. I'd be leery of bugging her too much overnight, though, since sleep is also a good restorative. That's what I'd do if I were you, at least. Then start in again bright and early in the morning.
Perhaps someone else will chime in soon with more advice. But you're definitely on the right track, now, doing the best you can for her. As for me, think I'm gonna plug in a Doctor Who episode and snuggle in to bed, LOL! Best of luck with her overnight, and I will check in once I've gotten some ZZZ's. :hugs

I'm a vet tech and I always tell people that vitamin B complex is great to have on hand for sick birds. Inject into the breast just under the skin. I give a half a cc. Also you can inject distilled water right under the skin to help hydrate her if she refuses to drink. Could be a number of things but those will help til you can pin point what's going on.

Thank you so much, and I hope you sleep well! The last stuff I dusted with for mites was a dedicated poultry brand, not DE, this was a new thing I was going to try, only spread a small portion on ground in a couple places outside as yet. Not sure I'll use it now, will have to do some research. Only got it coz I'd seen people mentioning it and saw it on a few youtube vids talking about chicken care. Given me pause for thought there.
Just got another 3.5ml into her so will give her a break for a bit, she was definitely more resistant to it this time. Don't feel that much in crop, think the small pouch I feel is probably the mealworms. Might watch a movie then come back to her and then set alarm for half way through night just to check and see and try a bit of liquid. :fl
Can't thank you enough for your help and advice, and just for being there! :hugs

Thanks. Sorry - your comment came visible to me only after I'd posted my above, didn't mean to wish you to bed lol!
I have a syringe but it doesn't have a needle. I'd have to see about how I can obtain one 2moro. Also have to google what a cc is lol. Is vit B complex a liquid? or something you dissolve into water? I would have to see what's at chemists here. Is it like a berocca? I have those here, the tablet things, but they are fizzy....

I was unaware of the hydration trick with distilled water - thanks. :thumbsup:goodpost:

Great to hear :D
Little is doing a bit better today, I think. She ate some mealworms this morning that I put into her food bowl, then began pecking the food underneath. I froze lol, I didn't want to break the spell. She ate about 2-3 teaspoonfuls of the crumble, ~8 sunflower seeds and then a couple more mealworms. She didn't drink but I've given her 2 lots of 3-7ml today and going to give the same every couple hours. I caught a moth for her and she killed it, but then left it and sat down next to it and went to sleep. She usually gobbles them. She's always been the sort of bird to pack her crop, so her behaviour is still under par but I'm hesitantly hopeful.
She had 3 small wet poos over night. One huge sloppy poo this morning followed an hour and a half later by a normal poo, average size and normal colour and consistency. Again a promising sign if she can just keep eating or pick up her activity. Temp this morning same as last night, but she was less agreeable about having it taken lol.
