Her name was Sugarplum and she was my only lavender silkie girl@Slothinc what was the name of your girl?
I’m sorry for your loss, I’m sure she was a much loved beautiful girl. Her name was Sugarplum and she was my only lavender silkie girlAnd she was unrelated to my lavender boys, so I was thrilled to be able to have purebred lavender silkie babies in the near future
Sadly it was not meant to be right now.
I still will end up with some lavender chicks from my F1s, which is still exciting! But it will be some time before I am able to have pure lavender silkies (which is something I have been wanting since I first got chickens 5 years ago.)![]()
