5 1/2 week barred rock

Here's my three 5 1/2 week old barred rocks. Are they hens or roosters?

Boys. Those combs are too pink to be girls. And the white bands are the same size as the black bands.

Yes you have some cockerels :-( But you could try to sell them in the Chicks 1 Day to 8 Weeks Old BUY~SELL~TRADE forum or you could just try and re-home them here Animals In Need of Free Re-Homing.

Sorry they are boys, showing too much comb at this age, and the far left one is even reddening. Boys generally have a grayish stripe while females with be black and more distinct (clearer).

1 little, 2 little, 3 little cockerels. So sorry that this is your welcome to BYC - were they sold to you as sexed pullets?

No we did the best we could to sex them. Bummer we did a terrible job.
This little ones have lived in my house for most of the 5 weeks also. I have become attached to them.
I have found a friend that is going to give me 2 hens for 1 of them. But still will have to find a great home for the other 2.
It can't be to someone who will eat them though. Lol!!
