Was pretty suspicious of this guy when he was only about 2 weeks of age. Posted here before when he was ~3-4 weeks.

He’s now 5 1/2 weeks and I don’t think there’s any doubt left that he’s a cockerel! Still wanted to check in and have a few second opinions again now that he’s older (just in case )

He was part of a sexed pullet bin at - you guessed it - TSC. We are keeping him regardless of his cockerel status and we’re pretty excited!

Isn’t he just?? So proud of his first (ear-grating) crow efforts! So funny how he thinks he can compete with our neighbors’ roos already.
Hahaha! I'm still waiting for my 13 week Easter Egger boy to start crowing. I wonder if yours learned to crow so early because he always hears neighboring crows? None of my neighbors have any chickens at all.

It's very possible! We hear a couple of our neighbors' roos crow a lot and I'm sure that influenced him at least a little.

We also added two new pullets (which are a fair bit older than him and his original flock at 3-4 months, with them being just around 2 months) just yesterday, so I like to joke that he had to learn to impress the older ladies sooner rather than later. ;)
