I won't be able to make this meet either, but will be at Florida Sunshine Classic in Lake City next weekend Sat. Jan. 9th. Be sure to look for the BYC table outside the show. Vicki (sunshinesilkies), Micki (Sugar Sand Farm) and I (Alieda/cmom) and DH's will be there. I will have cages and they will have their birds.

Set up is from 8:30 to 10:00 am. Bring your own tables and chairs,if needed. I am bringing a generator if needed for heat lamps. Gonna be chilly and windy, so dress warm.

I liked the swap. Good amount of room for setting up. Parking was more of a problem. We will be back for sure. Frankie

I was wondering how the Swap went. too. I don't like to miss any if I can help it. I like to go and check them out at least once and If I like them will go to more. I love going to the Bent Creek Feed store swap in Jacksonville. There are a lot of BYC'ers there.

When I got to the swap, I sold 4 pullets before I could put the crate down - sold them in less than a minute!

I also sold some chicks, and if I'd had more, I could have sold them , too. Enjoyed seeing everyone; there were a lot of non-BYC people that came through, and someone was selling some pretty rabbits. Cmom, both people I sold my chickens to were scrambling to find boxes to take them home, so you might do well selling some cages, especially those neat $10 small ones. Parking was definitely a problem , though. I'm planning to go back.
