I have a question about un-wanted roos as well....is there anything that can be done so that you don't have to "get rid of them"? I don't need a lot of roos, but if we have them, what can I do?

You can keep all your roosters together in the same living quarters. Do not put any hens in with them. They will get along just fine. I've seen it done by a really nice fellow I bought two of my chicken coops from (Jersey Chickens.com). He showed me all of his enclosures with one of the enclosures that just houses roosters (about two dozen of them). They were all happy and live together without any problems. Good luck.
