5 day old chick, pecked down to skull

I do have a red light. I had read about that before getting chicks so made sure to get one to start off with. I think Turtle is just starting to get boy hormones and being a big meanie. They are separated now and we will be finishing the 2 level dresser brooder so I won't have to worry about making the same mistake of putting newborns in with older chicks. I think I will probably put each new batch in the rabbit cage indoors until the next batch is hatched, then keep the younger kids in one level and the older kids in another level of the two level booder. Hopefully that will keep any fighting to a minimum
