I bought hatching eggs from a local breeder with a nice selection and variety of purebreds, but she was out of town so her husband helped me. He had no idea what egg was from what pen, but we had a broody and needed something in a hurry. We got one 5-toed bird. From feather sexing at 1-day, I think it is a pullet. She hatched from a light tan, pinkish egg, a very large yellow chick with a wide brown stripe from cap to tail. She is normal size now compared to the other chicks her age, has brown feathers with wide black lacing. What breed and color variety is she? Thanks!
