Just over 5 weeks, anyone want to guess male or female? The pictures make her look almost silver, we will see how she matures!

I also think she looks a little frizzled, is that because her feathers are just starting to grow in?

She's not frizzled, her feathers are just growing in and look a bit ruffled/messy. You would be able to tell if a chick is frizzled or not by the first week, a frizzle chick would look like this:

Not all frizzles will have frizzle feathering, some will be smooth feathered. I guess you got a smooth feathered chick, she's cute anyways. [IMG]emojione/assets/png/1f601.png?v=2.2.7

The picture before makes me think of a rooster, but I would say still in the girl zone.

Nothing is screaming rooster to me yet, but I know it's still early.
