Ok, you know the story. I got 6 easter eggers that are supposed to all be girls, but I think I got an even split of boys and girls sadly. I don't think I'm great though at picking boy or girl, so here they are for all you more experienced chickeners. :)

So, the one centered in this picture is a scissor beaked EE we've lovingly named Eddy scissor beaks. I think I see saddle feathers though, and that means he's not going to have a fabulous future. Do those look like saddle feathers to you guys? What about the chick in front of it (not the white one). I'm pretty sure that one's a boy too. :(

I'm pretty sure that of my ones with any color, this is my only pullet. I think my other two white ones are pullets too.

So here's a picture of more of them. The one brown girl down in the bottom right. The rest of the colored ones I think are roos. Please disagree and make my day, I really wanted all girls. :(

Here's another shot of 5 out of 6. What do you think?

I dont really see any signs that say they are cockerals, but then again EEs arent the easiest to sex. Time will tell, good luck with them!

I'm having issues with my computer glasses so the images aren't clear to me. My EE cockerel by 5 wks had noticeably bigger legs and his comb was more pronounced. He started trying to crow by 7-8wks.

Thanks for the info guys. I've raised other breeds, but not EE's before, and I know they can be hard. None of them have any red yet on their faces, which makes me hope they all still might be girls. I'm just worried about the feathers on the back, that maybe they look like male saddle feathers.

They are too young to be sprouting any saddle feathers just yet I think, I don't generally see saddle feathers until my roo's are older, like past 6 months or so. I don't see anything that makes me suspect rooster in any of those birds. Usually a little roo will really be getting pink or red in the comb by that age. I think you have a bunch of little girls there.

Everyone appears to be a female except the first bird.

Thanks Pele, I will keep an eye on it. That one has a crossed beak, not going to be able to keep it if it's a boy. :( Any boys I keep I'd need to be good breeders.
