Someone said they are vet, but they aren't actually, they have no clue what they are talking about.

There are many vets that focus on cats or dogs or other animals.
Even if I knew for sure that someone was a vet, I might not trust them to tell the sex of a chick

Yup I agree, except they were claiming to be a chicken vet. Also I just don't see how you could be a vet with that kind of grammar...
