I am not dumb. I have a very high IQ, and frankly, from the way your posts come across, I don’t feel you are in any place to be telling someone that they are dumb.
I have owned baby chicks. I have watched then grow into beautiful adults, and have researched and researched and learned from books and fellow chicken keepers and people on this site.

Oh, @Melontine, thank you for hosting such a lovely thread. Your little pullet is gorgeous. And while the 6+ pages of hijacked posts may have been a bit much to follow, several of those gems gave my whole family a hearty laugh.

Yes they do i raised chick okay in straight run mixture i pick the longer wings and i alaways get pullets thats how i know i read beckys starter book and it syas on common standard looking breeds ex: rhode island red they will have longer has there young i have WATCHED WITH MY OWN EYES and i have never gotten a rooster because i pick the longer wings and tail. Please dont argue with me i assure i kow what im saying when it comes to sexing standard breeds. i have seen for 5 years and never gotten a rooster from straight run mixes.
