Sounds good hopefully some good ole face washing will do it!

the slime came back ugh. she also has 2 tiny holes in her feet like the size of a needle prick. is this sign of disease or lack of nutrients? i've looked everywhere on what could be wrong but i just dont know

My Clyde has the exact same problem. She is a muscovy about 2 weeks old and has had slimey eyes and crust around them. And she dry sneezes occasionally. View attachment 2276150
Saline and washing does not help at all. Whatever she has is not contagious but it isn't getting better either.

I put mine in the sink with slightly warm water and sprinkled some over its head causing it to dunk then afterwards I rubbed her eyes and around them dry, then took the duck out into the sun to dry and the excess slime seemed to be gone. I'm gonna do it maybe once a day or so but it seems like it has helped so far
